First, that costs money, which I have to pass on to you. I also like to interact with my customers to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. Finally, right now my inventory is very fluid, and I have multiple sales avenues. I don't want to risk taking somebody's money and not having their product in stock. When the current supply side shortages settle down a bit, I will definitely revisit this.
My overhead is very low for starters...and you're buying your ammo straight from the manufacturer without giving any middlemen a taste. Plus, I base my price on the cost of components with a fair and reasonable profit built in (No, I don't make ammo for fun--I do make a profit). While I could mark my ammo up as much as everyone else is, and make a ton of money in the short term, that doesn't gain me much trust and loyalty with my customers. There's a reason why over 85% of my sales are repeat customers, that's the highest in the industry!
I'm not tellin'.
There are lots of calibers I'd like to do; 35 Remington, .30-30, 45-70, 44-40, 327 Federal....the list goes on. Rest assured, if it's a classic cowboy round, classic hunting round, a classic version of a modern caliber loaded specifically for old military rifles, or less popular and unobtanium round, I'm looking at it, finding components for it, or looking for a test gun in it. You can help by using my contact form and shooting me a request for a particular caliber. Squeaky wheel gets the grease folks! Don't ask me about the latest whiz bang super Net Ninja caliber though...I can't keep up with the flavor of the week. You should have just bought a .30-06 anyway.
No it doesn't. I just like 300 Blackout. And I generally think the commercial offerings in it suck. One shoe fits nobody. So I load what I like to shoot, and if other folks like it, then it's a win. Other folks do seem to like it, since I have a heck of a time keeping it in stock.
Primarily credit cards. We take all major credit cards. Payment is made via Payment Hub, a 2A friendly credit card processor. We also accept Zelle payments, and take a dollar a box of the cost of your purchase. Most of our customers prefer to pay with a credit card though, and we are perfectly happy with that!
Hi-Tek coating is the way. I no longer load straight cast for myself, or offer it. Lubing bullets is a pain, bullet lube creates a giant cloud of smoke, and contributes to a filthy firearm, and Hi-Tek reduces leading dramatically. There is no reason in this day and age to shoot non-coated bullets, it's healthier for you, the environment, and your firearm.
